Who are we?
Our History
The Tameside Kingdom Partnership was set up in 2024.
Three local church leaders in Tameside, Stephen Percy, Gary Kennaugh, and Sam D-H, got together over a Wetherspoons breakfast and wondered if God might just be asking them to gather churches from across Tameside to worship and pray for a move of God.
In 2025, an invite went out to local church leaders to meet together, eat together (you might notice a theme here…) and pray together.
In June 2025 we hosted our first prayer and worship night for churches in Tameside. We were astounded as hundreds of people turned up to pray for a move of God in Tameside.
Our Heart
Tameside Kingdom Partnership is first and foremost all about Jesus.
We are not interested in the glory of the name of any particular church. We want to see the name of Jesus lifted high, and churches united around his name.
Our desire is to gather the church in Tameside to pray for a move God, then to encourage and equip the church in Tameside to join in with that move of God.
Finally we want to foster a spirit of unity across the churches of Tameside, cheering each other on, praying for each other, and working together for the glory of the name of Jesus.
